From the time my mom was 18 years old she suffered from painful migraines. Over the years she tried everything she could to get better. Because traditional medicine wasn't helping, she turned to alternative modalities. This pursuit of healing became a large part of my family culture growing up. As my mom learned new modalities and healing practices she shared them with us. This was a whole new world of interest and fascination for me. I began reading the books my mom was reading and going to conferences and classes with her. I started learning my first modality as a teen. I have since learned multiple modalities and am currently practicing as an emotional release facilitator and am a trainer for The Institute of Healing Arts.
